Exploring Our World Differently Voices - Martin Block
"Know me for my abilities, not my disability."
Meet Martin Block
EOWD Contributor & Co-Founder of AbleRise
Hi, I’m Martin Block—co-founder of AbleRise and a longtime advocate for digital accessibility and inclusive design.
I teamed up with my wife, Rebecca Moore, to launch AbleRise after witnessing firsthand how even temporary disability can expose deep gaps in how society supports those with different needs.
What started as a side project between friends has grown into a platform dedicated to empowering people with disabilities and educating their loved ones and communities.
Why Martin’s Voice Matters
Martin brings a practical, thoughtful, and solutions-focused voice to EOWD. Drawing from his advocacy for digital accessibility and inclusive design, he approaches complex topics with clarity, encouragement, and respect for the real-life experiences of disabled and neurodivergent individuals, families, and caregivers. From education and entrepreneurship to caregiver well-being, Martin offers accessible guidance and realistic steps that help readers move forward without overlooking their individual needs, challenges, or strengths.
