Exploring Our World Differently and EOWD Autism Living are committed to making our websites, content, resources, products, and digital experiences as accessible and usable as possible for people of all abilities.
Accessibility is a natural extension of what EOWD believes: every person deserves dignity, respect, meaningful access, and the opportunity to participate in ways that recognize their individual needs.
People experience and interact with the world differently. They may navigate a website using a screen reader, keyboard, voice-control software, magnification, captions, alternative text, assistive technology, or other accessibility tools and personal adaptations.
We believe those differences should be considered with care—not treated as an afterthought.

Our Ongoing Accessibility Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project. As EOWD grows, we are continuing to review and improve our websites, content, design, navigation, and functionality.
Our accessibility efforts may include:
- Providing alternative text for meaningful images
- Using clear page titles, headings, and content structure
- Maintaining readable text and appropriate color contrast
- Supporting keyboard navigation whenever possible
- Using descriptive link text instead of relying solely on phrases such as “click here”
- Avoiding instructions that depend only on color, shape, sound, or visual location
- Supporting text enlargement and different screen sizes
- Adding captions, transcripts, or text alternatives to audio and video content when available
- Creating forms and navigation elements that are easier to identify and understand
- Using plain, direct language whenever appropriate
- Reviewing documents, graphics, product information, and other digital materials for accessibility barriers
- Considering accessibility when adding or updating website themes, applications, plugins, and third-party services
We look to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, currently WCAG 2.2, as a guiding reference for our continuing accessibility work. Our goal is to make thoughtful, practical improvements while remaining honest about areas that may still need attention.
Accessibility Is More Than Technical Compliance
For EOWD, accessibility is not limited to meeting a technical checklist.
It also means considering whether information is understandable, whether navigation is predictable, whether people can locate what they need, and whether different communication, sensory, cognitive, visual, hearing, mobility, and learning needs are treated with respect.
No single format, feature, or solution will meet every person’s needs. We welcome feedback from the people who use our websites because lived experience can reveal barriers that automated tools and technical reviews may not identify.
Known and Possible Limitations
Although we are working to improve accessibility, some areas of our websites may not yet be fully accessible to every visitor or compatible with every browser, device, assistive technology, or individual setting.
Possible limitations may include:
- Older articles, images, graphics, or downloadable documents
- Content provided by guest contributors
- Product information supplied by manufacturers, vendors, or fulfillment partners
- Embedded videos, social media content, maps, forms, or other third-party features
- Applications, plugins, themes, and e-commerce functions developed or controlled by outside providers
- External websites linked from EOWD content
- Content that has not yet been reviewed or updated under our current accessibility practices
We do not control the accessibility of third-party websites, platforms, applications, or content. However, we will consider accessibility when selecting services and will make reasonable efforts to provide helpful alternatives when we are able to do so.

When reasonably possible, we will work to provide the requested information in another format or help identify an alternative way to access it.
Reporting an Accessibility Barrier
We welcome respectful accessibility feedback.
If you discover a barrier, please let us know. We will review the concern and consider appropriate steps based on the nature of the issue, available technology, third-party limitations, and the resources available to our growing organization.
We may not be able to resolve every issue immediately or control every third-party feature. However, we will listen, respond in good faith, and use accessibility feedback to guide future improvements.

Exploring Our World Differently was built on the understanding that people communicate, learn, participate, and experience the world in many different ways.
Our accessibility work is part of that same commitment.
We will continue learning, reviewing our practices, correcting barriers when we identify them, and working toward a digital environment where more people can access information, explore resources, and participate with greater independence and dignity.
